A few of you may know my lovely wife, Nikki. What you may not know about is her daily struggle.
Over the past five years, we have watched Nikki's health deplete due to a rare liver disease, primary sclerosing cholangitis. This has taken away her energy, a lot of her normal daily activities, & her health. To make a long story short, she eventually needed a liver transplant to save her life. As luck would have it, we discovered the liver regenerates [crazy right!?!] thus making a living donor transplant possible. So the hunt began for a donor both living & deceased.
Sure enough, Nikki found a donor. Not only was this amazing, but where she found a donor was just as amazing. Taylor, the soon to be living liver donor, use to work alongside Nikki teaching yoga. I could not believe it whenever she told me the incredible news. It seemed so surreal.
Sometimes the answers are right in front of us without us even knowing the question. The love of yoga brought these two young women together but unconditional love is what now binds them together for the rest of their lives. Taylor has literally given the gift of life. Taylor & her family are now our family. Our family is now Taylor's family.
Soon the ladies will be admitted to the transplant ward & a new journey will begin. We would love for you to join that ride. In our newly launched shop, we are selling tank tops & t-shirts to spread the word about altruistic, living organ donation. This is a great conversation starter amongst friends, co-workers, & strangers. 100% of the proceeds of the shirts will be donated to the families of Nikki & Taylor to help them through the post operation journey.

So as a few of you may know, we were invited to design another skateboard for ArtDeckCo. Our design has been in the works for a while & I'm finally happy to reveal our work at the SLC International Tattoo Convention this weekend.
