GK Flyers

A promotional mailer designed to illustrate GK Design International’s functional, fearless, & adventurous performance attitude. This piece arrived at potential client offices’ flat as a two-dimensional die cut print. Recipients were instructed to pop out the pieces & assemble the flyers along with the display tower. Once assembled, the stand alone flyers make for a dynamic conversation piece.

The initial concept to highlight GKDI’s diverse portfolio was play through construction. Essentially it was a traditional injection moulded plastic model kit that featured many performance vehicles created for Yamaha Motor Corporation. Given the inherent nature of modeling kits; fairly thin, lightweight, inexpensive, and requiring assembly, it was a perfect choice to send via mail. Ultimately this concept was revised due to budgetary issues however we can’t help but wonder what might have been.
